Sara has worked as practitioner in public art on a variety of projects including a major commission from Derriford Hospital, Plymouth. She continues her practice in painting, drawing and textiles, working towards exhibition and commission.
Sara works with dancers and performers to teach life drawing with movement at the Bristol Drawing School, and as professional training for animators in other contexts. Her particular interest in describing movement through drawing stems from design for dance. This led to teaching life drawing to animators at Aardman Animations originally for their training programme for ‘The Chicken Run’. Since then she has consistently run classes and workshops for students, animators, artists and a multitude of people who share a passion for performance, drawing and music.
