This two-day workshop is suitable for anyone interested in the beautiful and unique world of the honey bee. In recent years the plight of honey bees has been well documented. Numbers have decreased due to climate change, pesticide use and habitat loss. This workshop pays homage to the anatomical beauty and complexity of honey bees. Participants will learn about their incredible physiology, using high-powered microscopes to study a variety of different specimens. You will then transform your findings into microscopy drawings. This drop-in is suitable for all abilities, and anyone with an interest in drawing or the physiology of honey bees.
