The Human Form in Space - Lecture

Fri 19th November 2010
6pm, free admission, no ticket required just turn up

A lecture by David Cobley

The aim of the talk and subsequent workshop will be to encourage students to use drawing as a way of looking again at the human form in space, and help them find their own ways of describing this experience on a two dimensional surface. The talk will ask why this might be important, and look at ways artists past and present have tackled the subject.

David Cobley is an award-winning portrait and figure painter who works from a studio in Bath, England. His portrait commissions include HRH The Princess Royal and President Assad of Syria.
